ERIC NOLTE

Eric Paul Nolte is a Boeing 737 captain for Continental Airlines, and a free-lance journalist whose work has appeared in such magazines as Flying, Air Progress, and Private Pilot. He is also an accomplished composer and pianist who attended the North Carolina School of the Arts, and graduated from New College, where he majored in music. He has written for theater, film, and for many ensembles from solo piano to full symphony. He has performed as a solo pianist for such groups as the National Music Club in Sarasota and the library music series at New Rochelle, New York, where he first presented a recital of his own music a year ago. He resides in Westchester County, New York, with his wife Jan, a voice teacher for actors at SUNY Purchase, and their two young daughters.
