Hans F. Sennholz was born February 3, 1922 in Westphalia, Germany. He earned his M.S. from the University of Marburg in 1948, and a Dr. rer. pol. from the University of Cologne in 1949. In 1955 he earned a Ph.D. in economics from New York University. From 1956 to 1992 he was Professor of Economics and Chairman of the Department of Economics at Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania. In addition to over 500 articles he is the author of numerous books and booklets including Three Economic Commandments, The Savings and Loan Bailout, The Great Depression: Will We Repeat It?, Debts and Deficits, and The Politics of Unemployment. He is the President of The Foundation for Economic Education which publishes the excellent free market magazine, The Freeman: Ideas on Liberty. |
